  1. I am very disappointed at so few recipes for anything but meat based recipes. We eat vegan and use our air fryer frequently. We do not confine our vegetable dishes to fried potatoes.

  2. I’m very disappointed that there is not a recipe book with the fryer. I don’t have time to be looking up recipes when I get home from work & everyone is hungry & please don’t suggest that I can always do it the day before. I don’t always know what the menu will be the day previous.

    1. I am sorry to hear that. We are not affiliated with the makers of the Vortex Air Fryer but completely understand your frustration. When you have time maybe take a few minutes to browse these easy air fryer recipes and create your own little book of go-to family favorites to pull out when in a rush to get dinner on the table. Hope that helps!

    2. I hope you realize how silly that comment was. You should have just said, “please don’t suggest I try and save myself a headache, its everyone’s fault but my own.”

  3. Just bought the 6-quart Vortex Plus air fryer (the one with the drawer) and thought I’d found the Vortex recipe paradise – but so far every recipe I’ve searched for is written for the Vortex Oven (the one with the rotisserie basket). Is there a way to search or sort by recipes suitable for the drawer models, and skip the ones made for the oven models?

  4. I just purchased a Vortex Plus, 4 Quart Air Fryer. I cannot find Cook Times or recipes for the 4 quart Air Fryer.

    1. me too same – usually when you purchase an appliance especially at a HIGH RIDICULOUS PRICE you would expect to get a cooking manual at least and some recipes to boot … but not with the vortex 6 quart 4-in-1

      1. Me, too. Received the 10 quart Vortex with rotisserie as a Christmas gift. No recipes! Have never used an air fryer. For me, it’s intimidating! Am deciding whether to keep.

        1. Keep it you wont regret it. Im an experienced cook and I got one for Christmas and it was a little intimidating for me too. I decided to just try it and I love it! Even toast is better on the bake cycle. More even browning than Ive ever seen but it doesnt take long at all! Anything you can cook in an oven you can cook in the aire fryer. Everything in this little workhorse us soooo much better! Ive done a rotisserie out of the basket cause it was pushing 4 lbs 3.50 would be ideal for the basket oh my goodness waay better than the store, baked potatoes (best ever), wedge fries (like Alexia), and roasting nuts. Everything was perfect and better. It does cook faster so you have to watch it till you get to know it but once you do you will love it.

  5. i have bought and returned two air fryer cookbooks and one was specifically for Vortex. Terrible, both of them. No pictures, no index, no order and kind of exotic recipes and using unusual measurements that I don’ t know for instance 1 and 3/4th ounce—I mean what is that?? plus some ingredients i never heard of. so found this page and am going to save it as these recipes seem simple and good and understandable. I AM NOT a cook. so i have signed up and we will see. I have not tried any of the above. All i have done so far is tator tots you buy frozen and i enjoy them, especially no grease.
