Ingredients & Variations
CHICKEN Choose breasts that are similar in size so they cook at the same rate. Skin on or skin off, they’ll still be juicy and flavorful! Try wrapping each breast in bacon and securing with toothpicks before air frying. The excess fat drips to the bottom so the bacon stays crispy!
Boneless pork loin chops can also be used, choose thick chops that pockets can be cut into.
FILLING Cream cheese and parmesan make up the base for this filling. Mozzarella, Swiss, bleu cheese, or feta crumbles can be added too.
Spinach and chopped sundried tomatoes are just right in this recipe, but other veggie combos like sliced mushrooms, kale, peas, diced bell peppers, or shredded brussels sprouts are great choices, too. Even a handful of bacon bits are delicious!
SEASONINGS Garlic elevates every dish and pre-made Italian seasonings are what bring this dish together. Get creative and switch out for taco seasoning, ranch seasoning, or even chili!
