Green Beans – Fresh green beans are best for this recipe, although canned and frozen will work but won’t be as firm. Trim them equally before using them. Frozen green beans need a couple of more minutes to cook.

Seasonings – Olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper perfectly balance sweet green beans. But you can use your favorite seasonings, bacon bits, sliced almonds, or a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese.

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
