How to Make Air Fryer Red Peppers

  1. Prep: Deseed, remove stems, and cut peppers into quarters.
  2. Season: Toss with oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Roast: Add to the air fryer and roast (per the recipe below).

Storing Air Fryer Red Peppers

Roasted peppers will keep in the refrigerator for 5-6 days.

The best way to store red peppers is in the freezer. After they have roasted, chop them or lay them whole on a parchment paper-lined baking pan in the freezer. Remove from the freezer and store in an air-tight container or ziplock bag. They will keep it for 2 months in the freezer.

To thaw remove the desired amount from the freeze and thaw in the refrigerator.

Air Fryer Red Peppers are crisp and moist. It's the best recipe for making peppers quickly and easily.

  • 3 bell peppers any color
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions 

  • Preheat air fryer to 360°F.
  • Cut peppers into quarters, remove the seeds and cores, then chop into bite-sized pieces.
  • Combine all ingredients, place in the air fryer, and cook for 8-10 minutes.

    This is absolutely wonderful!! I use these roasted peppers in sauces, soups and stews and the flavor is unimaginable!!

    1. Hi Barbara, on the Vortex Pro I would insert the tray into the middle position and use either the Air Fry or Bake setting. Adjust the temperature to 360°F and cook for 8-10 minutes. Hope that helps!
