Just got an air fryer and feel like I need to try everything. This recipe was so easy to make!
We know the feeling!
this french fry recipe (temp and time) is different from the Vortex Aur Dryer Cooking Times print out. That document says 400F for 5-10 mins. This one says 14-16 mins.. which is most accurate?
Hi Taylor, for this recipe we find cooking at 400°F for 14-16 minutes provides the best results when using frozen french fries. You can check them around the 5-10 minutes mark and adjust accordingly.
I tried oozing for 16 minutes – fries not crispy. Cooked an additional 4 min and they were so tough we couldn’t eat them. So far all recipes I’ve tried are failures. Any suggestions?
Sorry, this recipe didn’t work out for you Linda. Some tips we have – We shake the fries after 10 minutes to ensure they get extra crispy and add them to the air fryer in a single layer. You will also want to make sure you aren’t using thick-cut fries, as those will take longer to cook through.
