Ingredients and Variations
Chicken – Use boneless chicken breasts and slice them into individual tenderloins or buy ready-made frozen tenderloins and thaw them before using. Easy peasy! Or try this recipe with turkey tenderloins!
Seasonings – Lemon juice works as a tenderizer in this recipe, but you can also season the raw tenderloins with a few tablespoons of your favorite Italian vinaigrette.
A DIY poultry seasoning or a light lemon pepper blend is also good to have on hand when experimenting with new flavor profiles for chicken!
Variations – Air fryer chicken tenderloins are perfect for breading! Use a Panko breading or crushed pork rinds for a low-carb coating. Simply season and roll the tenderloins in the coating before air frying.
