How to Cook Sausage in an Air Fryer

This is a one and done recipe:

  1. Preheat the air fryer.
  2. Add fresh or frozen Italian sausages in a single layer in the air fryer (as per the recipe below).
  3. Cook until they are fully cooked on the inside and browned and crispy on the outside.

PRO TIP: If cooking in batches, wrap sausages in aluminum foil and reheat in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes right before serving.

Tips for Cooking Sausages

The magic of the air fryer comes from preheating it before cooking the food! For all air fryer recipes, start the air fryer until it’s at the proper cooking temperature before adding the food to it. This guarantees that the food cooks from the outside in, sealing in the juices!
