Easy Ingredients

Hot Dogs – Beef or pork hot dogs are fine. Even vegetarian or plant-based dogs will work! Frozen dogs can be cooked in the air fryer by simply adding a few extra minutes to the cook time!

Buns – Choose buns that are as long as the hot dog. They can be used as-is or toasted by laying them open in the air fryer basket and air frying for a couple of minutes. Or if only making a few hot dogs, put the cooked hot dog inside each bun and place it in the air fryer, and cook until golden.

And serve them with air fryer tater tots, french fries, potato salad, baked beans, or a side of fresh veggies.

Toppings for Hot Dogs

Anything goes on hot dogs, right? Besides your favorite condiments like ketchup, mustard, onions, bbq sauce, and relish, top air fryer hot dogs with your favorite toppings from pickled red onions, jalapenos, pickles to sauerkraut. Or turn them into chili cheese dogs with some zesty homemade chili. Top with cheddar cheese to make them perfect for game day!
