Ingredients and Variations

Turkey Burgers – Any size or width works as long as the air fryer isn’t crowded and lots of air can circulate around them. Feel free to use Butterball ground turkey or another brand to make your own patties. Beef and chicken burgers will also work by simply adjusting the cooking time.

Seasonings – BBQ sauce infuses into the burgers when cooking, but you can use ketchup, teriyaki, pizza sauce, or even a sweet chili sauce to bake in new flavor profiles every time!

Variations – Top turkey burgers with cheese, onions, or jalapenos.

How to Make Frozen Turkey Burgers in the Air Fryers

  1. Place the patties in a single layer and cook (per recipe below), flipping halfway through.
  2. Brush with BBQ sauce and continue cooking until the patties reach 165°F.
  3. Remove patties and allow them to cool before serving on buns with desired fixings!

How to Serve Turkey Burgers

Because turkey burgers have less fat, be sure not to overcook them. Using a meat thermometer will ensure your burgers aren’t overcooked.

Serve these up with a potato salad or put the air fryer on double duty with French fries or sweet potato fries.

Storing Leftover Turkey Burgers

Keep leftover turkey patties in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat turkey burgers in the air fryer until cooked through and crispy.
