Ingredients and Variations

Potatoes – Frozen shredded hash browns, hash brown patty, and even small diced breakfast blend potatoes are perfect for cooking in the air fryer!

Seasonings – Swap the vegetable oil for canola oil, avocado oil, or spray them with olive oil spray.

Anything can add new flavor to hashbrowns! A little bit of seasoning salt, ranch mix, or zesty Cajun spice makes a new recipe every time. Or make your own seasoning blend with onion powder and garlic powder.

Variations – Add a beaten egg to the potato mixture in Step 2 for a thicker texture. Mix in finely diced bell peppers, onions, chopped spinach, or bacon bits for color, flavor, and a boost of nutrition!

  • Preheat the air fryer for maximum crispiness.
  • Keep leftovers in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat leftover hash browns in the air fryer. Chop and add leftover hashbrowns to a cheesy potato soup or have them on some breakfast sliders for extra crunch and flavor.
