Equipment

Ingredients  

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts 5-6 oz each, flattened to ¼ inch
  • ½ cup apple peeled and diced
  • ¼ cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 tablespoon bread crumbs
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F.
  • In a small bowl combine the apple, cheese and bread crumbs. Mix until fully combined.
  • Flatten the chicken to 1/4-inch thick and season with salt and pepper.
  • Spread half of the apple mixture into the center of the chicken breast and roll up. Secure with toothpicks.
  • Spray the chicken with cooking spray or brush with oil and season to taste with salt & pepper.
  • Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket and cook for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken reaches 165°F internally.
