Air Fryer Sweet Potato Wedges!

- Healthy, wholesome sweet potatoes are packed with vitamins, fiber, and antioxidants, so you can feel good about indulging.
- Versatile air fryer sweet potato wedges can be served as a side dish, snack, or appetizer anytime!

Easy Ingredients
Sweet potatoes – Any variety will work for this recipe. Beauregard and Jewel sweet potatoes are a couple of the most common, with good flavor, and dense, creamy flesh. Look for long, straight potatoes without any dark spots to create the best wedges.
Cheese – Use a dry cheese like Parmesan or Romano so you can grate them finely so they will easily adhere.
Seasoning & Variations – Try different seasoning mixes to give your sweet potato wedges your own signature! Try a DIY taco, fajita, or Southwest spice blend for a bit of heat, or opt for a sweeter fry and coat with cinnamon and brown sugar!
Rushed for time? Make sweet potato fries or chips instead!

How to Make Air Fryer Sweet Potato Wedges
Once sweet potato wedges are prepped, they are ready to eat in just 10 minutes!
- Peel and slice wedges, then soak in a bowl of cold water for 15 minutes to remove the starch.
- While the air fryer is preheating, pat wedges dry and toss with oil.
- Press the cheese and seasoning mixture onto the wedges.
- Place in one layer in the Ninja (or other brand) air fryer basket and cook (per the recipe below) until crispy and tender on the inside.

Pro Tips and Tricks
- Sweet potato wedges are best when served fresh and hot!
- Soaking in water will remove the sticky starch and make for crispier wedges. Be sure to pat dry with paper towels before seasoning!
- Preheat the air fryer so that the initial heat blast will sear the outer edges.
- Cut wedges into uniform thicknesses so they will cook evenly. Air fry in single layers and don’t crowd the basket. You might have to cook in batches.
- To re-crisp leftover sweet potato wedges, preheat your Ninja or other brand air fryer to 350°F and cook for 5 minutes.

Thank you for this recipe/method! My husband said they are the best sweet potato fries we’ve made in the air fryer (I agree). They were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. Perfect!
