Instant Pot Southern Style Green Beans w/ Spinach, Bacon & Potatoes

Classic southern style green beans have never been easier with an instant pot.
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 30 minutes
Total Time 40 minutes
Servings 6 servings

Equipment

Ingredients  

  • 4 sliced bacon diced
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups chicken stock
  • 3 cups green beans 1 inch pieces
  • 1 cup spinach
  • ½ pound potatoes Cut in half or quarters
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions 

  • Set the Instant Pot to "Saute". Cook the bacon until it starts to turn brown.
  • Add the onion and garlic and continue cooking until translucent. Turn off the Instant Pot.
  • Add broth, beans, potatoes, seasoning, and spinach. Put the lid on and set the Instant Pot to "Beans/Chili" and let it cook for 10-12 minutes. Once done slow release the pot.
