BREAD: Texas toast is at least 1” thick. You can buy it already sliced in the frozen section or simply make homemade by cutting a large baguette or boule loaf of bread into 1” slices.

  1. Whisk all the ingredients together except toast (as per the recipe below).
  2. Spread the butter mixture on both sides of the bread.
  3. Cook Texas toast in the air fryer in a single layer until crispy brown, flipping halfway through.

Air Fryer Texas Toast

Have a quick and easy snack or breakfast ready in minutes with this Air Fryer Texas toast recipe.
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 3 minutes
Air Fryer Heat Time 5 minutes
Total Time 18 minutes
Servings 8 Servings


  • 1 stick salted butter softened ½ cup
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon dry parsley leaves
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 8 thick slices of bread 1-inch thick


  • Preheat the air fryer to 380°F.
  • In a small bowl mix all ingredients except the bread until smooth.
  • Take each slice of bread and spread the butter mixture on both sides.
  • Place as many slices as will comfortably fit in a single layer into the air fryer basket. Don't overlap.
  • Bake in the air fryer for 2 minutes and then flip. Bake for another minute or until browned.
