Pull the leaves away from the spine and tear into chip size pieces.
Toss the leaves with oil and seasonings. Place in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Cook for 2 minutes, flip and cook for another 2 minutes or until they are crispy.
Toss with salt (if you want more) or any other optional seasoning.
Notes
Store in a paper bag for up to a week. You can also use a plastic bag lined with paper towels as well. Add them back to the air fryer if they lose their crispiness.Seasoning Tip: The kale leaves will shrivel in the air fryer so season lightly. If you season too heavily, they will be too salty.Kale chips will keep at room temperature for up to 1 week.
